June 2024 Update

A quick update to give everyone a preview of what the profile page of a barber shop location will look like.

The profile pages for both locations and barbers are going to have the same format:

• a header with location details and information
• A list of services offered
• A gallery of pictures from the barber and/or location, depending on the settings available.

In this example, we are looking at a barber shop location.

Underneath the location information are the list of barbers. Customers can click on a barber's profile picture to go to their page and book, or they can select the Book button below to book immediately.

The list of services are listed next. This list represents the full list of services offered at the location. Owners will have the option of letting barbers pick from the list.

At the bottom is the photo gallery. Business owners have the option of including their own pictures as well as an option to list images provided by their barbers.

We're currently in the process of building the dialog for getting customers through the process of booking the appointment and, if the owner is a registered merchant, giving the customer the option of prepaying for their appointment. Most of the work is done, so once the dialog is complete we will post pictures in the next update. A lot of the configuration and settings for barbers and owners are complete as well, but we will put those in a series of posts to discuss separately.

Next Steps

We're going to complete the Customer profile and settings next, which will allow customers to manage their appointments and post pictures and a description into their appointments, enabling barbers to better understand what the customer is looking for.
